RENTAL WEEKS: Our rental weeks run from Saturday
to Saturday. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is prior
to 10:00 a.m. Rentals for less than a week can start on any day,
but may not be taken more than a week in advance between Memorial
Day and Labor Day. Off-season rentals outside of this time period
can be booked for any number of days (2-night minimum).
RATES AND TAXES: Rental prices are subject to sales tax
plus accommodations tax. All rates quoted in publications and
the internet are per week during the high season. Rates adjust
according to the time of year. For 2007, most units offer a 50
percent discount from January 1 to April 13 and September 29 to
December 31. From April 14 to May 11 and September 8-28, most
units offer a 35 percent discount. From May 12 to June 15 and
August 11 to September 7, most units offer a 20 percent discount.
Some units do not discount rates during the week of Memorial Day
or Labor Day. In addition to the published rental rate and taxes,
you will be charged a $50 non-refundable reservation fee and a
cleaning fee based on the size of the unit that you rent.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: You may pay for your unit using credit
card (Visa or MasterCard), debit card, cash, travelers checks,
certified bank check, money order, or other certified funds. Personal
checks will be accepted for your deposit, but NO personal checks
will be accepted for payment upon arrival.
RESERVATION DEPOSIT: You will need to send 50% of the
rent amount and the $50.00 reservation fee to confirm a reservation.
This is due within seven (7) days of making the reservation or
the reservation will automatically be cancelled. Personal checks
are acceptable only if received 30 days prior to your arrival
date. Reservations made within 30 days of the arrival date must
make payment in full at time of reservation.
PAYMENT OF BALANCE: The balance of your rent must be paid
at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. Visa, MasterCard,
personal check, or a form of certified funds will be accepted.
CHECK-IN PROCEDURE: All guests are to check in first at
the office of White Realty, located at 1605 Madison Drive in the
Crescent Beach section of North Myrtle Beach. If you have difficulty
in finding us, simply call (843) 272-6115.
REFUND POLICY ON CANCELLATION: If unforeseen circumstances
make it necessary for you to cancel a reservation, give us advance
notice so that we may re-rent the unit. If your cancellation is
made more than 30 days prior to your reservation date, your deposit
will be refunded less the cancellation fee of $100. Any reservation
cancellation within 30 days will have to be re-rented before we
can refund your deposit less the cancellation fee. All units four
(4) bedrooms or larger must be re-rented to be refunded, less
the cancellation fee.
RETURNED CHECKS: Any check returned by the bank for any
reason will result in a charge of $50. If a check is returned,
any payment after that must be made by credit cards or certified
funds.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A credit card authorization must be
taken at check-in for a security deposit. This credit card authorization
will be used to cover the full cost of any unpaid balance, telephone
charges, damages, replacement or repair of any damaged or missing
items, or excessive cleaning requirements that we may deem necessary
in accordance with the South Carolina Lodging Establishment Act.
Charges will not be made before the card holder is notified.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is available for reservations
made three (3) or more days in advance and is offered when you
make your reservations. Your Rental Agreement will outline the
cost of this insurance and is included in your deposit request
payment. A pamphlet with detailed insurance information will be
sent with your Rental Lease Agreement. Please call CSA Travel
Protection for further information and with any questions concerning
coverage of pre-existing conditions (866-298-6846).
Travel insurance is an OPT IN extra that we offer
for your protection. We do ask that you mark the appropriate spot
on your rental agreement if you DO NOT wish to purchase the insurance.
Once the insurance premium is paid, it can not be refunded.
NO REFUNDS will be made for HURRICANE EVACUATIONS unless you have
purchased Travel Insurance and then CSA will refund based on the
days under mandatory evacuation. This insurance also protects
you and your family if an emergency family illness or death should
occur and prohibit you from vacationing. We recommend you purchase
this insurance for your protection.
HOUSEPARTIES AND GROUPS OTHER THAN FAMILIES: Owners will
not allow us to rent their property to sororities, fraternities,
or unmarried groups. We have the right to and will terminate any
rental, with no refund, if, in our opinion, the renter is detrimental
to the property.
RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE RENTALS: Rental properties
are privately owned. Occupancy may be refused or terminated for
any cause considered sufficient by the rental agent in which case
any deposit or rent will be refunded pro rata, except for situations
involving houseparties or groups. All refunds are less the non-refundable
reservation fee.
LINENS NOT PROVIDED: For your convenience, sheets, pillowcases,
towels & washcloths are available for rental at White Realty.
Reservations for linens must be made in advance in order to have
the packages ready for you.
CLEANING AT CHECK-OUT: Mandatory check-out cleaning is
required on all units. Price is determined by size of unit. You
are required to (1) remove all items from the freezer and refrigerator;
(2) run the dishwasher and return all items to their original
place; (3) carry out all trash; (4) close and lock all windows
and doors, leaving the property in a secure and orderly condition.
We will take care of the heavy cleaning and the rest.
PETS: Most of our units will NOT allow pets. Please call
for pet-friendly units. Having a pet(s) in a non-pet friendly
property is a violation and material breach of White Realtys
Rental Agreement and is grounds for eviction without refund and
you will be charged $200.00 for carpet cleaning and flea treatment.
PARKING PERMITS: Parking permits are required at most
properties. Some have parking restrictions so please ask if you
are planning on bringing more than two (2) cars. Most condominium
complexes allow just two (2) vehicles. Also be aware that some
places have restrictions as to the allowance of motorcycles and
no condominium complex will allow trailers, boats, or RVs in the
parking areas. You must make your own arrangements should you
bring a vehicle not permitted.
WARRANTIES AS TO APPLIANCES: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE AIR CONDITIONING
OR OTHER APPLIANCES, but we do guarantee that repairs will be
made as soon as possible. No adjustments will be made on the rental
rates.
OTHER POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: Port-a-cribs, high
chairs, color TVs and linen packages can be obtained through our
office. If you are renting a condominium, you must abide by all
rules and regulations of the condominium association.
PLEASE NOTE: Although every precaution is taken, errors
in price and/or descriptions do occur in printing and web site
publishing. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CORRECT SUCH ERRORS.
